Getting started

Connect your Microsoft 365 account

SimpleNewsletter365 runs on the Microsoft 365 account you already have. There is no separate password to create.

Before you start

You need a work or school Microsoft account and permission to sign in to third-party apps in your tenant. If your organization restricts app consent, an administrator may need to approve SimpleNewsletter365 the first time.

Steps

  1. Go to the app and choose Sign in with Microsoft.
  2. Complete the Microsoft sign-in and approve the requested sign-in permissions. At this stage we request identity only. Permission to send from your mailbox is requested later, at your first send, so you always know why a Microsoft consent screen appears.
  3. Create your organization by giving it a name. This becomes your workspace.
  4. You land on the setup checklist, which walks you through building an audience, connecting a sending mailbox, and sending your first newsletter.

What we store

We store your Microsoft tenant ID, user object ID, email, and display name. Microsoft access and refresh tokens stay on our servers and are never exposed to your browser. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
