v2026.10.0

October 30, 2026

See what you pay

Billing

  • Settings > Billing now shows what your organization pays: the amount in your currency (USD or EUR), whether it is monthly or yearly, the tax, and the date and amount of the next invoice. The same details are available to your AI assistant through the plan tool.

v2026.8.0

October 30, 2026

Replies reach the right person

Forms

  • New “Reply-to address” setting for signup confirmation emails, on every plan. Without it, replies go to your organization’s default sender.

Email

  • Invitations and newsletter notices that cannot be sent from your own mailbox now ask for replies to you, not to us.

v2026.9.0

October 30, 2026

Pay in euros

Billing

  • Paid plans now have euro prices: Starter €8, Growth €17 and Scale €25 a month, or €69, €149 and €239 a year, plus VAT. Checkout picks euros for buyers in the euro area and US dollars for everyone else, and renewals stay in the currency you started with.
  • Yearly plans show only the yearly amount.

Website

  • The site footer now appears on landing pages, and pages no longer scroll sideways on phones.

v2026.6.0

October 29, 2026

Organization type in the template gallery

Template gallery

  • Your organization type now lives in the template gallery, where it decides which templates are recommended. The gallery shows the current type with a Change button, and it no longer appears in settings.

Settings

  • The default sender sits with the other organization fields and explains what it does, including what None means.

v2026.7.0

October 29, 2026

One address for your AI assistant

AI assistants

  • One address for every assistant: https://mcp.simplenewsletter365.com. Your organization’s region is picked automatically, so there is no EU or US address to choose.
  • Claude on the web and on your phone, ChatGPT-style connectors and Codex can register themselves when you sign in with Microsoft. Agent tokens from Settings, Agents keep working with the new address.
  • The connect prompt is one line. The assistant gets its instructions and how-to guides from the server.
  • Settings, Agents has a Connect Claude link.

Website

  • A clearer homepage and a rewritten AI page.

v2026.7.1

October 29, 2026

Assistants can leave out optional details

AI assistants

  • Tools accept calls that leave out optional fields, such as listing your organizations without a search term.

v2026.7.2

October 29, 2026

Stronger origin protection

Security

  • The app now checks a private key that only its own front door route adds, so traffic from other services on the same network edge is refused.

v2026.4.0

October 28, 2026

Regions, Stripe billing, templates and a full-screen editor

This release moves SimpleNewsletter365 to a multi-region setup, replaces the billing provider, and reworks the newsletter editor, themes, forms and newsletter list.

Regions and sign-in

  • Workspaces live in the EU or the US region. Sign-in happens once at app.simplenewsletter365.com, which sends you to your region.
  • Sign-ins stay active for 14 days across browser restarts.
  • Mailboxes are connected separately from sign-in, and a default sender can be set for each organization.

Billing

  • Billing now runs on Stripe. The first purchase uses Stripe Checkout, and plan changes, invoices and cancellation happen in the Stripe customer portal.
  • Upgrades apply immediately with proration; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

Newsletter editor

  • Editing a newsletter opens a full-screen editor without the app sidebar, with the back link, steps and save status in one top bar.
  • A template gallery offers 20 built-in templates, and block groups add ready-made sections in one step.
  • Style presets save a group of styles under a name and apply them elsewhere.
  • The paragraph popout has a proper writing surface, and the canvas is rendered by the same engine that renders the delivered email.

Themes

  • A new Themes page in organization settings lists your themes above 10 built-in themes, with a large preview in light and dark, desktop and mobile.
  • New built-in themes: Boardroom, Orchard, Riverside Blue, Folio, Graphite, Nightfall and Confetti.
  • The theme editor covers every color in light and dark mode, fonts, sizes, spacing and corners. After saving, it offers to update drafts that use an older version of the theme. Sent newsletters never change.
  • In the editor, a theme switcher in the top bar changes the theme, and “Reset to theme defaults” removes per-newsletter styling after confirmation.
  • Built-in themes can be the organization default, and saving a theme no longer makes it the default automatically.

Newsletter list

  • Each newsletter has a menu with Duplicate and either Delete (for newsletters that were never sent, after confirmation) or Archive (for sent newsletters).
  • Archived newsletters are hidden until you turn on Show archived, and their reports stay available.

Forms and segments

  • Embedded forms load live from the server, with modern, fallback and AI prompt embed options.
  • The hosted form page is optional and off for new forms. Existing forms keep their hosted page.
  • The form editor has its own Segments section, and segments can be created from forms and from the contacts page.

Custom domains

  • Custom domains run on a self-hosted edge in each region, and DNS setup is shown as a table of the records to add.

Agents

  • The Agents page replaces the MCP settings tab and adds agent tokens for tools that cannot sign in interactively.
  • Agents can manage themes, archive and delete newsletters, and switch a form’s hosted page, with confirmation for bulk and destructive actions.

Reliability

  • Loading errors explain what to try next, and Copy details collects the technical information support needs without personal data.

v2026.5.0

October 28, 2026

A tidier newsletter editor and consistent screens

This release polishes the newsletter editor and makes the app consistent from screen to screen.

Newsletter editor

  • The side panel has three tabs: Details, Block and Appearance. The theme switcher sits at the top of the Appearance tab.
  • The save status is a single icon: a checkmark when everything is saved (hover or focus it to see when), and a spinning sync icon while changes are saving.
  • The Write, Preview and Send steps are reached with buttons such as Continue to preview and Back to editing, without a separate progress bar.
  • Preview switches between desktop and mobile, and light and dark, with compact toggles, and works on phones.
  • The send screen shows its overview in a panel you can open and close.

Lists and tables

  • Newsletters, contacts, forms, segments and reports share the same empty states, page titles and error messages.
  • Row actions live in a menu, and deleting always asks for confirmation.
  • Reports list only newsletters that were sent, with a View recipients link on each row.
  • Subscriber history filters sit in the table toolbar, and tables read better on phones.

Settings and themes

  • Buttons, error messages and empty states in settings, forms and the theme pages use the same components as the rest of the app.

v2026.3.0

August 4, 2026

Responsive, dark-mode-ready newsletters

Newsletters now adapt intentionally across desktop, mobile, light, and dark email clients. The editor and automation tools share the same authoring contract, so previews and delivered email stay aligned.

Responsive email

  • Columns, galleries, cards, screenshots, and the SimpleNewsletter365 branding bar now reflow for narrow screens.
  • Images shrink within the available width, and mobile padding and tap targets are checked before sending.
  • Mobile screenshot captures and image crops can replace desktop assets where a narrow view needs different framing.

Themes and dark mode

  • Reusable themes control semantic colors, type, spacing, radius, and button variants across a newsletter.
  • Light and dark previews are available for desktop and mobile before a theme is applied.
  • Buttons, inverse sections, page backgrounds, and screenshot plates include deterministic dark-mode treatment.

New content blocks

  • Feature List, Card, Stat Row, Eyebrow, List, Quote, Comparison Table, and Labeled Divider blocks are available in the editor and through MCP.
  • Linked video thumbnails can use a managed, server-composited play treatment.
  • Website screenshots support desktop and mobile captures, selectors, regions, full-page capture, and browser or phone frames.

Agent authoring

  • MCP now publishes the complete block and theme schemas, structured lint findings, capability versions, and exact multi-mode previews.
  • Agents can upload managed images, create video thumbnails, manage reusable themes, and patch one part of a newsletter without replacing the full draft.

v2026.2.1

August 1, 2026

Newsletter layout consistency

This patch improves the visual consistency of newsletter blocks across the editor, preview, and delivered email.

Newsletter editor

  • New call-to-action buttons start centered while existing saved alignment is preserved.
  • Columns and galleries keep their requested desktop layout when space allows, then stack safely in narrow or deeply nested content.
  • Social and Share blocks now show the same visible labels and alignment in the editor and delivered email.

Email compatibility

  • Nested images stay within their available column or section width.
  • Incomplete Gallery rows retain their selected alignment, including the Outlook-compatible table path.
  • Long content can wrap without widening narrow newsletter layouts.

v2026.2.0

Microsoft 365 native audience and sending

This release makes SimpleNewsletter365 more Microsoft 365 native: bring your audience straight from the tools you already use, reach groups and distribution lists, and see exactly how a large send is paced.

Audience

  • Import contacts from Outlook, Microsoft Bookings customers, and OneDrive files, alongside CSV and Excel, from one import surface.
  • Send to a Microsoft 365 group or distribution list, kept in sync as a living segment. Sending to a group audience is available on Growth and up.

Sending

  • Send-pacing transparency: the live send view shows which batch is going out, how many recipients remain, and when a deferred send resumes.
  • Preview the rendered newsletter exactly as it was sent.

Reports

  • Click performance report with per-link analytics when a custom domain is connected.

Editor and assets

  • Pick newsletter images from OneDrive while composing.

Billing

  • Billing moved to Polar as the merchant of record, with tax calculated and added at checkout based on the buyer’s location.
